The New Testament Church
To deal with the subject of church growth in the 21st century it is paramount to understand something of the New Testament church`s perception of itself so that we can build on the firm biblical foundations of the apostles and the early church leaders. This survey will be dealt with under the six headings below. As 21st century Christians we have the privilege of having available to us the written word of the living God, the enlightening Spirit and the history, experience and scholary testimony of 2000 years of church service available to us in so many different forms.
